Desert Series
In the heart of arid landscapes, where the earth whispers its ancient secrets in the wind-blown sand, Spoor embarks on an abstract journey that delves into the enigmatic soul of the desert. With every brushstroke, this series of artworks celebrates the boundless expanse, the relentless sun, and the untamed spirit of the desert, fusing them into a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes.
From the sun-kissed vineyards of Napa Valley to the rolling hills of Tuscany, every wine region has a unique story to tell. Spoor embarks on a journey to capture the essence of these regions through her abstract artworks.
These paintings are not only a tribute to the beauty of the vineyards, but also a celebration of the human spirit and the perseverance it takes to cultivate these landscapes. Every brushstroke on the canvas is a reflection of the terroir, climate and history and people who contributed to the making of the wine. The bold colors, fluid shapes and dynamic compositions convey a sense of energy, movement and emotion that transcends language and speaks to the soul.

Beauty from the Depths of the Earth, this body of work is inspired by the natural tones of earth and stones;Minerals, Crystals, Rocks & Gemstones. Escaping the hectic constraints of modern life, creating a sanctuary with warm colors and embrace nature. To capture smoothness, roughness, transparency, structure and textures.
Spoor adds raw earth or pumice to the paint which makes stone and nature to become really part of the work. Not only seen in the colors of the relief of the paint; but you can literally feel the stone, nature and environment she gets her inspiration from.
This body of work is inspired by the beauty of marble.
During a trip to Italy, Spoor stumbled up on the marble mines of Carrara. She instantly became fascinated about the grace and beauty of the rocks soled stones, that comes in all kind of beautiful colors. She became so intrigued she decided to devote a new series to the beauty of marble.
Spoor adds real marble from this area to the paint so you can literally see and feel the inspiration in the work; lots of structures.

A Window onto the Riviera series
Located in the beautiful sunny south of France, the French Riviera beams with its natural beauty inspiring many of the world’s greatest modern artists who made it their home.
I have walked through the Riviera’s colorful little villages, drawn to it by its colorful architecture embraced by its sea, its natural greenery, its wild flowers and organic fruit trees, hugged by the rays of the sun appearing from behind the broken clouds battling the morning fog as it creeps up the shores warming up its golden beaches finding refuge in its cooler mountains.
This series has been inspired by touches of the Mediterranean blues, the fragrant of lavender blooms, complimented by the aroma of its roses, and the greens of the Riviera landscape. This creative mix of contrasting chaotic pastel colors as reflected in my paintings touched by golden detail, sprayed by droplets of its aged wines and champagnes adding a touch of joy to lovers and admirers.
Acrylic on linen with finely ground pumice and silver/gold details.

WINTER escape Series
Whenever cold weather swings around, our travel daydreams tend to fluctuate between to very different types of winter escapes: snowy wonderlands and tropical beaches. Some days, we envision a ski vacation or a trip to a snow-covered European village, and other days we start planning our next beach trip while scorning the sub-zero temperatures.
By this theme and feelings, Spoor created this new body of work. She experiences these dueling pangs of wanderlust every time at the start of the year and wants to take you to her journey of dreaming away to between cold- and warm-weather destinations.
This body of work is inspired by the Mediterranean atmosphere. Spoor travelled through the Mediterranean on several occasions and particularly enjoyed Italy which are reflected in this series of paintings. The unique colours and textures of the stuccoed buildings throughout Italy were awe inspiring.. hillside villages looked like dabs of colour in the sunshine. The unique blue of Mediterranean waters and the quality of light is way different than in her hometown Amsterdam.
Memories and the experience of these distant places, are filed in the far reached of her soul.. the colours, textures and movement has been recorded with paint for the interpretation of the viewer. Each painting will literally shine when the sun shines on it through the golden details that she has used. It is an abstract representation of different places that she has seen.
Acrylic on linen with finely ground pumice and bronze/gold details.

Exploration of colors Series
With its unique color combinations, the Exploration of colors series is inspired by my travels around the world. This body of work is not only inspired by the cultures I’ve encountered in my travels; but also the urban and rural textures and color combinations I’ve seen from around the world. These works have been a process of stepping into the unknown both literally and creatively. Feeling a desire to step out and take more risks both with techniques and color combinations, the Exploration of colors series is a reflection of my life’s process.
Colour, light form, composition, and energy are qualities that are important for me as an artist. Reflecting my energy and state of mind when painting, colour will take precedence over shape, departing from the distraction of realism.
For this series, Spoor was inspired by eyes.. because they are the tools that enable us to see the beauty of the universe.. enable us to see the love or hate, trust or distrust.
Eyes are the key to the heart. The purity of your heart comes through your eyes. Your eyes are magical, they show your sweetness, your love, your anger.. they talk the language of the heart.
Art in its purest form evolves through a show case of paintings named the Pure Series.
Here in the Pure Series, pigments and tools are highlighted by overwhelming the canvas limiting the touches of the pallet to tones of white, silver and light grey/blue. Through a light block or a dark wide brush stroke, Pure paintings emerged creating a mist of purity sprayed onto a frame catching the eye, the heart and the soul, bringing calmness, peace and tranquility to the mind. Pure it is.
In the Pure Series, Lynn's artistic passion has taken on a new tone. It is a reflection of re-capturing and appreciating purity through her colours, brush strokes and textures. It is returning purity back to a world that has lost its way. It is about changing the mood, the perception and the sad reality we live in, by indulging and injecting, purity through art, back into our values, our hearts, our minds, our homes and our world.
